Set up your proxy to host the website so it is available on the internet.
On your docker server:
Install Couch DB on docker with the following docker-compose file.
Docker-compose.yml file

Once the container starts, you can validate that it is install and running by going to the following link
https://obsidian.mikemcfetridge.com/_utils
Once you verified that the DB is up and running, you will need to log into the container:
Docker exec -it {Container name} /bin/bash
Run the following command
export hostname=https://obsidian.mikemcfetridge.com #Point to your vault
export database=obsidian #Please change as you like
export passphrase=7ixpCPi5OEDF6J #Please change as you like
export username=miker

Copy the API KEY as you will need to enter this information on your desktop client and other client to link to the database for live updates.
Open Obsidian, then go to settings and Community Plugins. Enter in and install the "Self-hosted LiveSync" plugin.
Choose Use the copied setup URI from the command palette and paste the setup URI. (obsidian://setuplivesync?settings=.....).
Type the previously displayed passphrase (patient-haze) for setup-uri passphrase.
Answer yes and Set it up..., and finish the first dialogue with Keep them disabled.
Reload app without save once.
