+Copy the API KEY as you will need to enter this information on your desktop client and other client to link to the database for live updates.

+Open Obsidian, then go to settings and Community Plugins.  Enter in and install the "Self-hosted LiveSync" plugin.
+
+Choose Use the copied setup URI from the command palette and paste the setup URI. (obsidian://setuplivesync?settings=.....).
+
+Type the previously displayed passphrase (patient-haze) for setup-uri passphrase.
+
+Answer yes and Set it up..., and finish the first dialogue with Keep them disabled.
+
+Reload app without save once.
